A Passport and Driver’s License is required for Tourists. Emirates ID and Driver’s License is required for Residents/Locals.
Some cars have no security deposits while some do. When Security Deposit (Guarantee) is required, is is held in your credit card in the form of pre-authorization (Blocked). Deposit will be blocked on your card for 30 days.
The deposit amount varies for different cars by the type of car rented. Some cars have zero deposit, while others can have a deposit of up to 3000 AED.
